Clinical Laboratory Technician (Multiple Openings) – Golden, CO

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented clinical laboratory technician for a full-time position in a fast-paced genetic laboratory.

Primary Job Description:

Perform clinical genetic testing of client samples. Specific duties may include: sample receiving and initial processing, laboratory sample processing, data analysis and processing, report generation, laboratory maintenance procedures and other duties, as assigned. This position is instrumental in ensuring rapid turn-around of high quality genetic testing while meeting CLIA (and other regulatory) standards. This position reports to the Clinical Laboratory Manager.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in a relevant clinical or scientific subject (minimum).
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year College or University in a biological/life science (preferred).

Experience Requirements:

  • Must meet Clinical Lab Improvement Act (CLIA) minimum standards for testing personnel
  • One (1) year clinical laboratory experience (minimum).
  • Two (2) or more years of clinical laboratory experience (preferred).

Special Skills/Knowledge Experience:

  • Knowledge of good clinical laboratory practices.
  • Experience with molecular genetics bench work or similar laboratory work.
  • Experience with laboratory and safety equipment as it relates to client testing and low volume-liquid handling techniques.
  • Experience with laboratory data entry (LIMS) and data processing (Excel, Unix/Linux Command Line Interface).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be available for odd hours (second/third shift).

We are currently seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented individual to be responsible for managing marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities at Baby Genes.

Primary Job Description:

In this role, you will develop marketing programs and execute on tactics to help build awareness and drive usage of Baby Genes offerings. Responsibilities include building multi-channel marketing campaigns for professional target audiences, developing sales tools and marketing materials, and collaborating with and supporting internal and external partners. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Plan marketing and branding objectives
  • Expand product solutions and offerings
  • Prepare marketing strategies alongside other company executives and staff

Regional Account Manager (Multiple Openings) – Various Locations across the US

We are currently seeking highly-motivated and effective sales personnel to bring Baby Genes offerings to the masses.

Primary Job Description:

In this role, you will drive revenue growth to meet or exceed sales revenue targets that are based on strategic product areas within the growing Baby Genes portfolio. You will pull together internal resources to support and create strategic customer relationships, and will support the development of Baby Genes Key Opinion Leaders, in the Genomics and Diagnostics marketplace. Working in concert with the Director, Business Development, you will develop and drive key regional strategies in our areas of focus. You will collaborate with Baby Genes clinical staff to deliver complete product and service solutions to clients and you must be able to form strategic alliances and design solutions that support pipeline evolution; drive opportunities to a close and achieve long-term sustainable business.

  • Southern California
  • New England/Mid-Atlantic

Essential Functions

  • Sales Revenues / Budgets: Meet or exceed sales targets – increasing sales of all Baby Genes products by managing all sales functions and driving new business.
  • Strategy: Implement company strategy through specific strategic account plans developed in concert with Director, Business Development.
  • Planning / Forecasting: Develop and monitor annual sales targets, key performance indictors and revenue forecasts.
  • Business / Markets: Drive and initiate development of new business opportunities. Increase number of strategic partnerships.
  • Development: Build relationships within the team to improve positioning of key products and achieve sales targets
  • Communication: Organize meetings and communication channels to ensure effective communication across business units.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor degree
  • 3+ years of lab experience preferred
  • A minimum of 5+ years of directly related sales experience with proven track record in Life Science or Molecular Diagnostics Industry
  • Wide range of knowledge of life sciences and diagnostic molecular applications and products, including qPCR, NGS, and specific customer and technology knowledge
  • Proven ability to sell to Laboratory Directors, Principal Investigators and above
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while under guidance from manager
  • Ability to work in teams

Travel

  • 80+% of time spent in field, willingness to travel and valid driving license required
