Richard Sjogren – President/CEO, Co-Founder
Rich is a former military officer with executive leadership experience in the high-tech industries of aerospace defense and aviation. He co-founded Baby Genes Inc. in order to make a difference and to help ensure that all parents get to enjoy their children as much as he enjoys his. Rich earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy and his MBA from Auburn University. In addition to his executive role, Rich also serves on the Baby Genes Board of Directors.
Robert D. Daber, PhD, DABMGG – Laboratory Director
Craig Fuller – Senior Director, Sales & Business Development
Craig has over 20 years experience in sales, management, and executive leadership roles primarily in the pharmaceutical and clinical diagnostics industries. His background is highlighted by significant contributions with established companies and start-up opportunities that include: Schering-Plough, KOS Pharmaceuticals, Berkeley HeartLab, and Boston Heart Diagnostics. Craig earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Crichton College in Memphis, TN. In his spare time, Craig enjoys serving as a volunteer with several organizations, spending time with his family, and finding new hobbies. Craig has intentionally sought work throughout his career that would significantly help people improve or save their life and is excited to continue such work at Baby Genes!
Joshua Meairs – Laboratory Manager/General Supervisor
Anne C. Gordon, MS, CGC – Senior Manager, Data & Reporting
Anne is a board certified genetic counselor and received a Master’s of Science degree in Genetic Counseling from the University of Colorado. She has worked as a pediatric genetic counselor at the Children’s Hospital of Denver and The Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Additionally, she managed a gene transfer research laboratory, performed public health research in cancer prevention and oversaw billing for a medical office. Born and raised in northern California, she received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Medical Microbiology from California State University, Long Beach. She met her husband David in graduate school in Colorado and they have made Denver home; raising two children here. In her spare time she attends her children’s activities and is an avid kick boxer.
Peter Van LaarHoven, PhD – Senior Scientist/Technical Supervisor
Max Truesdel – Business Development
Max has been in the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, biotech and medical services space for over 15 years. He has executive leadership, management and sales experience with Pharmacia Corp., Athena Diagnostics, CCS Medical and Vitas Healthcare working with institutions such as Stanford Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, UC-Davis Medical Center, Texas Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Orange County and Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Max earned his Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the University of Dayton (OH). In his spare time he helps coach youth sports and is active with his family in the Colorado outdoors snowboarding, fly fishing and hiking.
